Lillian Maxine Wyant

Lillian Maxine Wyant, 76, of Mayport, PA, passed away Wednesday, February 6, 2019, at Jefferson Manor in Brookville.

Maxine was born March 10, 1942, in Redbank Twp., Armstrong Co., PA to Ira E. and Pearl (Burkhouse) Wyant.

Maxine was a lifetime resident of the area and graduated from Dayton High School in 1961. She formerly taught Sunday school for many years at Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church but recently attended Countryside Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading her Bible and loved baking delicious homemade bread that she gave away to friends and family.

Her memory will be cherished by her brother, Melvin Wyant and wife, Judy, of Mayport; sister, Nancy Rummell and husband, David, of Fairmount City; and four generations of numerous nieces and nephews.

Maxine was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, William, Robert and James Wyant; sisters, Irene Leasure, Clara Potts, and Isabell Geist; step-brother, Jack Wyant; and step-sisters, Elizabeth Beck and Elnora Heberling.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, February 8, 2019, at Bauer-Bly Funeral Home, Inc., 125 East Main St., Dayton, PA.

Additional visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of funeral services at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 9, 2019, at the funeral home with Pastor Don Pendley officiating.

Interment will be in Copenhaver Crossroads Cemetery, Dayton, PA.
