Linda Darnell Rhodes, 59, of DuBois, passed away Monday, June 27, 2016, at DuBois Nursing Home after a lengthy illness.
She was born January 25, 1957, in DuBois, daughter of Larry “Wayne” Himes who survives in DuBois and the late Anna Mae (Reilly) Himes.
Linda was a graduate of DuBois Area High School. She was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Church of DuBois. She was a homemaker and loved being with her grandkids.
Linda is also survived by her two children Matthew “Rhody” (Daniel) Rhodes of Luthersburg and Andrea Rhodes of DuBois, two brothers David (Mary Ann) Himes of Salem and Dale (Paula) Himes of Troutville, and four grandchildren.
Friends will be received on Thursday, June 30, 2016, from 9 a.m. until service at St. Catherine of Siena Church in DuBois. A memorial mass will follow at 10am at the church with Fr. Richard Siefer as celebrant. Burial will follow in the church cemetery beside her mother.
