Linda R. Heatherdale

Linda R. Heatherdale, 74, of Treasure Lake, DuBois, PA, died on Monday, February 26, 2018, at her home.

Born on April 12, 1943, in DuBois, PA, she was the daughter of the late Gerald M and Nancy (DeSalve) Royer.

On November 30, 2001, she married George E. Heatherdale. He survives.

She had worked many years at Matthews Hallmark store in the DuBois Mall. Previous to that she worked at Wolf’s Furniture for over 12 years.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in DuBois. She was also a member and past president of the former Junior Woman’s Club in DuBois. She was one of the founding members of the New Horizon’s Singles Group, she loved to go to garage sales and cook, and most of all, she loved family gatherings.

Linda is survived by three sons: Robert “Mike” Coder of DuBois, PA, Brent P. Coder and his wife Susan of DuBois, PA and Brian A. Coder and his wife Suzanne of Luthersburg, PA; eight grandchildren: Christopher, Matthew, Ryan, Colton, Jeremiah, and Brandon Coder, Macy Cressley and KyLea Hy; and two great-grandchildren: RyLynn and KayDyn.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert D. Coder, and a brother, Michael W. Royer.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 1, 2018, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 2, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. with Pastor Lance Tucker officiating.

Burial will be in Morningside Cemetery.

Memorials may be placed with the Gateway Humane Society, P.O. Box 678, Falls Creek, PA 15840 and/or the charity of the donor’s choice.
