Brookville is 4-1 on the year and has won two straight while Clarion-Limestone checks in with a 3-2 record and has lost two in a row.
The Raiders have become a high-flying bunch this year after the addition of Frank Varischetti as the offensive coordinator for head coach Scott Park. Varischetti is well known for the record-setting quarterbacks he had at both Brockway and DuBois as the head coach, and he is well on his way to grooming another one in freshman Jack Krug with the Raiders.
Krug has already thrown for 1,272 yards and 19 touchdowns on the year to just five interceptions while completing 70.5 percent (91 of 129 of his passes).
Top playmakers for Brookville include Bryan Dworek (45 catches, 626 yards, 9 TDs) and Nick Keth (9 catches, 237 yards, 4 TDs).
Quarterback Brendan Makray (stats not available) leads the Lions. He threw three touchdowns and three intercpetions in a loss to Clarion last week. Riley Hummell, Chris Peace and Colby Himes are also key players for the Lions.
