Local Man Busted on Meth Charges in Brookville

BROOKVILLE BOROUGH, Pa. (EYT) – Police say a Clarion man is facing drug possession and related charges following a recent traffic stop in Brookville Borough.

Around 1:04 a.m. on Sunday, March 3, Brookville Borough Police conducted a traffic stop on a 2006 Pontiac sedan for several equipment violations.

Police say while speaking with the driver, a known 39-year-old Clarion man, they discovered marijuana and a pipe inside the car. Upon further investigation, police also discovered a clear bag with a substance comparable to shards of glass or nearly transparent rock salt, suspected to be methamphetamine.

Police also discovered numerous items that are used for processing, preparing, testing, packing, storing, containing, inhaling, ingesting, or otherwise introducing controlled substances into the body.

The man was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The identity of the man was not released.
