NEW BETHLEHEM, Pa. (EYT) – New sex charges have been filed against a New Bethlehem man who was jailed two weeks ago on rape and sex-related crimes.

According to a Criminal Complaint filed on September 9, 2014, 24-year-old Douglas Tyler Greenawalt, of New Bethlehem, has been accused of another sex crime against a minor.

Clarion-based State Police say Greenawalt allegedly arranged through social media and through text messages to meet a 15-year-old girl several times at Millcreek boat launch in Clarion Township during the summer months of 2013.

According to the Criminal Complaint, the teen told police that she knew Greenawalt by his real name and his online name Dunn Daniel.

Greenawalt allegedly told the teen that he was 22 or 23 years old. When the two began engaging in sexual relations, he allegedly told the victim he would break up with his girlfriend.

At a later date, Greenawalt allegedly asked the victim if she “wanted to make some money.”

He allegedly told her “he had an opportunity for her to be a secretary paying $3000.00 and all she had to do is “pleasure” the workers.”

Greenawalt is charged with the following offenses in this case:

– Two counts of Statutory Sexual Assault, Felony 2
– Two counts of Unlawful Contact with a Minor, Felony 2
– Two counts of Corruption of a Minor, Felony 2
– One count of Criminal Use of a Communication Facility, Felony 3
– One count of Promoting Prostitution, Felony 3

Police became aware of this situation while investigating previous sex allegations involving Greenawalt.

Greenawalt now faces a total of 33 charges.

He is scheduled to be arraigned on the new charges tomorrow.
