Lois A. (Fye) Dinger


Lois A. (Fye) Dinger, 89, of Corsica, went to her heavenly home on January 13, 2018, at Brookville Hospital after a brief illness.

Born on February 7, 1928, in Kossuth she was the daughter of Prentice and Minnie Zeigler Fish.

She attended school in Tionesta and graduated from Ashland High School in Kossuth.

She was married on July 20, 1946, to Stanley Fye who preceded her in death on September 12, 2001. She later married James (Jim) Dinger on April 21, 2003, and he survives.

Lois was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Venus and she also attended Evangelical United Methodist Church in Brookville.

She was employed by National Fuel Gas Supply Corp. for 22 years until her retirement on November 1, 1987.

Lois enjoyed crocheting, fishing, golfing, travel and visiting family.

She was a member of Eastern Star Morris Chapter.

Lois is survived by her husband Jim, daughter Dianne Maskrey and her husband Ray of New Wilmington, a daughter-in-law Linda Fye of Palm Harbor FL, step-sons Jeff Dinger and his wife Judy of Oil City, Calvin Dinger and his wife Tina of Seneca, step-daughters Pam Dinger of Corsica, Robin Harris and companion Ken Snyder of Franklin. Also surviving are grandchildren Joel (Annette) Fye of Alpharetta GA, Tracy (Mark) Murgash of Cumming GA, Jason (Heidi) Fye of Oldsmar FL, seven great-grandchidlren, 18 step-grandchildren, 14 step-great-grandchildren and four step-great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Stanley James Fye, a son Dennis James Fye, an infant son Douglas Eugene Fye, a step-daughter Roberta Wielandt, one sister and three brothers.

Friends will be received at the Faller Funeral Home, Inc. in Fryburg on Tuesday, January 16, 2018, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Funeral service will be held at Faith Lutheran church in Venus at 11:00 a.m. on January 17, 2018, with Pastor Chuck Jack, of Evangelical United Methodist Church in Brookville presiding.

Interment will be in the Sunset Memorial Gardens in Cranberry following the service.
