Lois Anne Giovannelli, age 68, of Walnut Street Ridgway, Pa., died on Monday, July 4, 2016, at her residence with her family, after a long hard battle with cancer.
She was born on April 4, 1948, in Ridgway the daughter of the late Louis and Armine Carnessali Serafini.
She was a graduate of the Ridgway Area High School, class of 1966.
She married Nick M. Giovannelli on July 15, 1967, and he survives.
Lois was a lifelong resident of the area. She retired from Osram Sylvania after 24 years of service, after working the preceding 11 years at Pizza Hut in St. Mary’s. She was a devoted member of St. Leo Magnus Church in Ridgway, performed volunteer work and was dedicated to her family. She loved cooking, gardening and fishing, but most of all spending time with her family. Her great personality and wit will truly be missed.
In addition to her husband, she is also survived by two children Michael Giovannelli of Kersey and Dawn Giovannelli of Ridgway; a sister Patricia Cameroni of Erie, Pa.; two grandchildren Angelina Giovannelli and Nikke Giovannelli both of Ridgway, one great-grandchild Olivia Osborn; a nephew David Cameroni of Edinboro and a niece Jean Ott of Conneaut Lake, Pa.; as well as many great nieces and nephews.
As per Lois’s wishes, all services will be private at the convenience of the family. Burial will be at the St. Tobias Cemetery in Brockway.
