Lois K. (Reynolds) Mahlon, 69, of Luthersburg, PA, passed away on Monday, October 23, 2023, while a patient at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.
She was born on September 22, 1954, to Thomas R. Reynolds Sr. and Katherine P. (Whitesell) Reynolds in DuBois, PA.
Lois graduated from DuBois Area High School with the Class of 1972.
She went on to work for Jackson China and then Brockway Glass (Owens Illinois) until her retirement.
Prior to retiring from Owens Brockway Glass, Lois enjoyed providing coffee and meals for her coworkers.
Post retirement, she enjoyed reading, word search puzzles and watching professional golf games on TV.
Lois was very good at crocheting and made numerous afghans for family and friends.
She also liked to spoil her nieces and nephews and her great nieces and nephews by sending gifts and goodies.
Lois will be dearly missed by many.
Lois is survived by her father; Thomas R. Reynolds Sr.; two siblings; Jan (Reed) Rusniak; Tom (Kelly) Reynolds Jr.; two nieces; three nephews; and seven great nieces and nephews.
Lois was preceded in passing by her mother, Katherine Reynolds.
Family and friends will be received on Friday from 11am to 1pm at the Snyder – d’Argy Funeral Home, 206 E. Main Street, Reynoldsville, PA 15851.
A funeral service will take place immediately following the viewing, beginning at 1:00pm.
Interment will take place at Lakelawn Memorial Park, Winslow Twp., Jefferson Co., PA.
