Loye “Annie” Frazier

Loye “Annie” Frazier, 73 of Big Run passed away following a lengthy illness on Tuesday, September 1, 2015.

Annie was born on April 7, 1942 a daughter of the late Edward and Naomi Loye Ehrgood. She was married to the late Neil Jefferson Frazier who preceded her in death in 1971.

Annie was a sweetheart to all of her friends and her family. She possessed an incredible sense of humor and a fun-loving side. She enjoyed laughing, life, and had an infectious giggle. Although she did not like being the center of attention; when she giggled, those around her couldn’t help but to join in and form an unintended choir of laughter. Annie’s smile, quick wit, and appreciation for the simplest things in life will always be remembered by her family and friends. Annie was indeed an extraordinary person and will certainly be missed.

Besides being employed by Standard Pennant in Big Run, Annie also worked for many years for Jefferson Insurance in Punxsutawney. Annie was a member of Saint Philip’s United Methodist Church in Big Run.

Annie is survived by a son, Neil “Jeff” Frazier and his fiancé’ Jerri Schrewberry and a daughter Jodi Berry. She is also survived by a sister, Jennifer Hillberg and her husband Don and their son Bryan of California; and four grandchildren, Neil Jefferson Frazier, Sarah Berry, Paige Berry, and Sophia Dellarte.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Annie was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Ehrgood.

Funeral arrangements are private and under the direction of the Shumaker Funeral Home, Inc., of Punxsutawney. A memorial service in Annie’s memory will be held at a later date and announced accordingly.

Online condolences may be sent to Shumaker Funeral Home.
