PUNXSUTAWNEY, Pa. (EYT) – January is a time for making snowmen, or at least a snowman mug.
K & M Pottery Studio is hosting the event at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, January 6, at Maplewood Elementary School in Punxsutawney.
Kids are welcome. All ages are able to make these snowmen mugs. Come as a family to make a snowman mug together.
In this class, there are two options from which to choose.
1. Option One – The mugs will be pre-made on the wheel. Then, come in to attach the handle and add the face details. This option is $25.00 per mug. Individuals will also need to come back on a later date to glaze them or pay an extra fee to have them glazed.
2. Option Two – Make your own mug using pre-cut slabs of clay, attach the handle and the face details. This option is $20.00 per mug. Individuals will also need to come back on a later date to glaze them or pay an extra fee to have them glazed.
Individual will also have the option to make multiple mugs.

For those who have signed up and are unable to attend, please give a 24-hour notice, and full refund will be given or a credit to another class is also an option.
Disclaimer: if anything were to happen to any of your pieces in the drying/firing process (this can happen) individuals are able to come in to remake your pieces with no additional fee.
