Man Busted With THC Products Held for Court

FALLS CREEK BOROUGH, Pa. (EYT) – A local man was held for court Monday on felony drug charges related to the discovery of multiple THC products during a probation home visit in Falls Creek Borough.

Court documents indicate the following charges against 20-year-old Brady Todd Stalnaker Jr., of Falls Creek, were held for court on Monday, March 23:

– Manufacture, Delivery, or Possession With Intent to Manufacture or Deliver, Felony
– Possession of Controlled Substance, Felony (two counts)
– Marijuana-Small Amount Personal Use, Misdemeanor (four counts)
– Use/Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Misdemeanor

The charges have been transferred to the Jefferson County Court of Common Pleas.

Unable to post $25,000.00 monetary bail, Stalnaker remains lodged in the Jefferson County Jail.

The charges stem from a probation check at a Falls Creek Borough residence early last month.

According to a criminal complaint, around 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 4, Troopers Mitchell and Blaniar of the DuBois-based State police responded to a residence on Main Street in Falls Creek Borough to assist Clearfield County Probation.

According to the complaint, an officer of Clearfield County Probation reported he was making a home visit on Brady Todd Stalnaker Jr. when he noted a strong odor of marijuana in the residence. The officer reported Stalnaker then admitted there was contraband in the residence and directed the officer to his bedroom.

The complaint states that in Stalnaker’s bedroom, a five-gallon bucket and a clear rectangular container, each containing suspected controlled substances and drug paraphernalia, were retrieved, as well as other assorted other drug paraphernalia found inside Stalnaker’s dresser.

According to the complaint, when Troopers Mitchell and Blaniar arrived at the scene, they both noted the strong odor of marijuana coming from inside the residence. They observed the five-gallon bucket and the clear rectangular container on the kitchen table, and then took Stalnaker into custody. The complaint notes Stalker refused to answer any questions after being read his rights.

Around 4:00 p.m., Trooper Blaniar went through the items retrieved by Clearfield County Probation. According to the complaint, the following items were discovered:

  • 46 separate unopened packages of “Big Chief” distillate THC cartridges, each labeled one gram
  • 32 separate packaged clear cylinder containers containing suspected THC wax “crumble,” each labeled one gram
  • 19 rectangular packets containing suspected THC “Shatter,” each labeled one gram
  • two clear pieces of wax paper containing suspected THC wax
  • two unused full “Vuse” cartridges containing suspected THC
  • one “Wedding Fuel” USB cartridge containing one suspected gram of THC

The complaint notes that the following drug paraphernalia was also recovered:

  • two used suspected THC vape pens
  • one clear pill bottle containing suspected marijuana seeds
  • two cube-shaped rubber containers containing suspected marijuana residue
  • one white cylinder containing suspected marijuana residue
  • two cylindrical metal grinders containing suspected marijuana residue
  • six small assorted cylinder containers with suspected marijuana residue
  • seven assorted glass pipes containing suspected marijuana residue
  • four assorted cleaning tools with suspected marijuana residue

According to the complaint, there was also a digital scale with suspected marijuana residue, $650.00 in cash wrapped in a rubber Gand, and two handwritten notes displaying quantities of “crumble,” “shatter,” “flower,” and “carts,” found in the clear rectangular container.

The complaint notes the suspected THC wax tested positive for marijuana.

Stalnaker was arraigned in front of Magisterial District Judge David B. Inzana at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 5.
