BROOKVILLE, Pa. (EYT) — Authorities released details of a hit-and-run crash that happened in the Jefferson County Courthouse parking lot.
According to a release issued on Thursday, April 4, by the Brookville Borough Police Department, officers were called to investigate a hit-and-run in the back parking lot of the Jefferson County Courthouse around 3:17 p.m. on Wednesday, March 27.
Police say a known 60-year-old man struck a parking meter with his vehicle and failed to report it.
Citations were issued for failure to report the accident and accidents involving damage to unattended property.
The defendant’s name was not released.
