Man Cited for Allegedly Harassing Woman During Child Custody Exchange

WESTOVER BOROUGH, Pa. (EYT) – A local man was charged with harassment following a recent domestic dispute in Westover Borough, Clearfield County.

Troopers from DuBois-based State Police were dispatched to 110 Hill Street on Feb. 11 for a report of a domestic dispute.

Upon police arrival at 7:13 p.m., a 24-year-old Cherry Tree woman was interviewed at a location near 110 Hill Street.

The woman said her ex-boyfriend, a known 34-year-old Cherry Tree man, confronted her during a custody exchange. She told police that the man reached through her car window and hit her arms as he attempted to grab her keys and shut the vehicle off.

She said he was “irate” and was screaming at her in front of their three small children.

The male suspect was cited for harassment.

His name was not released.
