Man Accused of Head-Butting Cop Car in Jefferson County

Blue flashing sirens of police car during the roadblock in the cBROCKWAY, Pa. (EYT) – Police have arrested a man accused of head-butting a police car in Brockway, Jefferson County.

According to WeAreCentralPA.com, 23-year-old Joshua Chewning, of Brockway, was arrested after he allegedly head-butted a police car on October 19.

Police say the head-butt shattered the back window of the police car.

According to court documents, Chewning is facing a long list of charges including Aggravated Assault, Burglary, Terroristic Threats, and Criminal Trespass.

Police found Chewning on October 15 at Sheetz in Brockway while investigating reports of a drunk disorderly person in the vicinity.

While attempting to restrain Chewning, a civilian allegedly hurt his arm and a police officer was kicked in the wrist.

Chewning also allegedly threatened the manager of the Sheetz for calling the police.

He is lodged in the Jefferson County Jail on $50,000 bail.

Chewning faces a preliminary hearing on November 18.
