Man Facing Charges for Threatening Victims During Eviction in Bell Township

BELL TWP., Pa. (EYT) – Police say a Punxsy man is facing charges for allegedly threatening two people during an eviction in Bell Township on Monday.

Around 10:29 a.m. on May 24, Punxsutawney-based State Police responded to a disturbance during an eviction at a location on State Route 36.

Police say the disturbance began when a known 64-year-old female victim from Punxsutawney, a known 42-year-old male victim from Walston, and officials from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office were serving an eviction on a known 55-year-old male suspect from Punxsutawney.

According to police, it was reported that the suspect threatened to murder the victims and “smash the female victim’s brains in” as he was escorted from the premises.

The suspect’s name was not released.

Police say charges are pending through District Court 54-3-01.
