Marvel’s ‘The Punisher’ Gets A Monster Truck

LUCINDA, Pa. (EYT) – The fame of Lucinda’s Tony Ochs just continues to grow.

Ochs, a 2004 graduate of North Clarion High School, drove a “Punisher” Monster Jam Truck at the NRG Stadium at the Houston Monster Jam on Saturday, October 21, as part of a promotion by Netflix and Marvel for the premiere of the upcoming The Punisher, on Friday, November 17.

Ochs was at a loss for words when he got the call to drive the “Punisher.”

“I was speechless when I got the call,” Ochs said. “It was really an awesome experience. I did my first black flip there without a problem, which I kinda impressed myself with.”

“There is so much that goes into doing a flip like that without having it go wrong and it’s just one or two seconds.”

“I’m so proud to drive the Soldier Fortune Black Ops Monster Jam truck, and representing The Punisher in Netflix and Marvel’s limited-edition ride this weekend was an honor,” Ochs said.

“It was quite the experience to do it in front of a sold-out crowd. I think there were 60,000 people there.”

The “Punisher” Monster Jam Truck was created in honor of the new Marvel Netflix series.

The truck is decorated in the promotional artwork for Netflix’s The Punisher.

Ochs explained that the “Punisher” track was an original body on top of the Black Ops chassis.

“It just kills me that it’s one and done,” Ochs said. “It’d be great to drive it some more, but the entire experience has been a blast.”

Ochs and his Soldier Fortune Black Ops Monster Jam truck will be making an appearance in Pittsburgh from February 9 through February 11.

Ochs and the Fortune Black Ops truck will be part of the Monster Jam shows at PPG Paints Arena.

Shows are scheduled as follows:

– February 9, 7:00 p.m.
– February 10, 1:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
– February 11, 1:00 p.m.

The two 1:00 p.m. shows will have a pit party from 10:30 a.m. to noon.

Ochs has been driving for Monster Jam since 2016.

He spent 10½ years in the army as an Apache helicopter mechanic and served four combat tours – Iraq twice, Afghanistan, and a multi-national operation in Kuwait.

Ochs currently resides in Lucinda.
