Mary Ellen Terwilliger, age 64, of Brookville PA, passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2016, at her home on Cemetery Rd.
Mary was born in Brookville, PA, on July 20, 1952, to the late Melvin L. and Florence (Barnett) Terwilliger.
She attended and graduated from Brookville High School.
Earlier in her life, she worked at the Jefferson County Home, now called the Jefferson Manor, as a cook and cleaner.
She also held a position as a line cook working for Travel Centers of America, more commonly known as, the TA Truck Stop in Brookville, PA.
Mary loved to cook and she was always willing to take care of those family members that were in need of additional help.
She loved her family and she worked as hard as she could to provide as much as she could to them.
She is gone too soon and they all miss her dearly.
Mary is survived by 1 daughter; Heather (Vince) Reed; 1 son; Frank Millis; 1 brother; Wayne “Wink” Terwilliger; 4 sisters; Mildred Terwilliger, Carol Harriger, Barb Kuhn, Linda Terwilliger; her Uncle Rufus D. “Due” Terwilliger; and many more Aunts, Uncles, Grand Children, Great-Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.
Family and friends will be received on Thursday, December 29, 2016, from 2 – 4pm and 6 – 8pm at the McKinney – d’Argy Funeral Home, ltd, 345 Main St., Brookville, PA, 15825.
Interment will take place privately at the Brookville Cemetery, Brookville, Jefferson Co., PA.
