Mary Johanna “Joan” Kloss, age 95, a long-time resident of Treasure Lake in DuBois, Pennsylvania, passed away on Thursday, January 28, 2021.
Joan was born on December 5, 1925 in Bronx, NY.
She will be remembered for her bold spirit, a fierce independence; and as a generous and loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
She is preceded in death by her husband Stanley Kloss and husband John “Jack” Ryen, son Gary Kloss, brother Stewart Thompson Jr., and parents Catherine and Cornelius Byrnes.
Joan is survived by her daughter Hollyanne Shue and grandchildren Jenna Shue, Harvey Shue, Courtney Lorimer, Taylor Kloss, and great grandchildren, Luke and Kate Lorimer.
As per Joan’s wishes, there will be no services.
