Mary Kunkle Reinhold McAninch of York PA passed away here in Greensboro NC on January 30, 2017.

Daughter of Lisle Henry Kunkle and Mary Stewart Harris. Former wife of Victor E Reinhold Sr and Ivan McAninch.

Loving Mother of Victor E Reinhold Jr / Wife Diane and Vern C. Reinhold / Wife Sonia. Dearest sister to Calvin Kunkle, Lisle Kunkle Jr, Jane Rulong, John (Jack) Kunkle and James Kunkle.

Grandmother to Kyle / Abbie, Kraig / Wife Courtney, Katelyn, Robert, Eric and Kristopher.

Great Grandmother to Kolton and Kendal. Mary was born in Indiana, PA on July 14, 1935.

She graduated from Blairsville High School, received her Bachelors degree from Roberts Wesleyan College in 1957 and earned a Master’s Degree in Education from Syracuse University.

For 30 years she was a teacher; first in Falconer, NY at South Side and then in the Jamestown NY Public School system teaching in elementary grades at Fairmont and Ring.

She was a member of the Swedish Covenant Church in Jamestown, NY (First and Zion), AAUW – University of Women, NY State Teachers Association, Who’s Who in American Education Women and Chautauqua Institution Choir.

She loved Crafts, Needlepoint, and Genealogy Research and played several musical instruments – Clarinet, Piano, Organ, Ukulele, and others.

She cared deeply for family and others and served on medical missions to Central America.

She will be remembered for her kindness and sacrifices for others and the lives she touched. Her Christian Faith and quiet resolve were undiminished until the Lord called her home. In the certainty of eternal life, farewell, until again we all meet on resurrection morning.

Private family services will be held at a later date, internment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery, Indiana, PA.
