Mary Margaret Brink

Mary Margaret Brink, 81, of Rossiter, died Friday, Jan. 23, 2015, at Christ the King Manor in DuBois.

She was born Feb. 8, 1933, in DeLancey (Adrian), a daughter of the late Nicholas Midock and Mary (Brudnock) Midock.

Mary was Catholic by faith and a member of the Church of the Resurrection in Rossiter.

On Aug. 6, 1955, she married her husband, Alexander William “Bill” Brink. He preceded her in death on Feb. 6, 2001.

She loved to cook, bake and spend time gardening.

Mary was a dedicated mother and grandmother. Her biggest enjoyment was spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchild.

Mary is survived by a daughter, Brenda Armagost and husband Gregory of Rockton; a son, William Brink and wife Sue of Punxsutawney; two grandchildren, Kayla Brink and Paul Armagost; one great-granchild, Baylee White; one sister, Olga Cook and husband Vern of Hyattsville, Maryland; and one sister-in-law, Delores Midock of Flint, Michigan.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three children, Ronald, Bruce and Mary Veronica Brink; three sisters, Elizabeth Petroff, Ann Blayer and Margaret Midock; and three brothers, George, Pete and Alex Midock.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 25, 2015, at Shumaker Funeral Home, Inc., Punxsutawney.

A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, Jan. 26, 2015, at the Church of the Resurrection in Rossiter, celebrated by Father E. George Saletrik.

Interment will follow at the Church of the Resurrection Cemetery.
