Escape Room

Dr. McKnight’s Medical Mayhem. An escape room game is exactly what it sounds like: a live-action game in which a team of 2-6 companions are locked in a room, and you have to figure out how to get out within one hour. The team must discover and solve hidden clues and puzzles in order to crack the codes to unlock the door and escape. These aren’t brain-crashing puzzles, but aren’t childish riddles either. Holy Trinity Episcopal Church will hold a free screening of the 1925 silent movie Phantom of the Opera. The film will be shown as part of the Brookville Halloween Weekend, accompanied by Kathy and Nathan Mohney on the pipe organ. Popcorn and homemade desserts will be available.

‘Brookville’s Eerie Tales’ Walking Tours

Tour groups will run from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and will leave the History Center on 15-minute intervals. Historically-based walking tours will feature “strange but true” tales including “The Twice Hung Man the Boy in the Box” and “The One That Got Away.” Limited tickets are available for $10.00 per person. Venango Chamber Orchestra Concert

Now in their 24th year, the Venango Chamber Orchestra, conducted by John G. Murcko, features nearly 50 members from throughout the region. Their mission is to provide local musicians and students with the opportunity to perform a variety of compositions to public audiences. This is a free concert, but donations are greatly appreciated and will support future efforts of the Venango Chamber Orchestra.
