Michael Todd Reitz of Brookville; passed away unexpectedly on Monday January 26, 2015.
Born in Brookville; July 26, 1961; he was the son of A. Lee and the late Mary K. (Hummel) Reitz of Summerville.
On August 8, 1998, at Immaculate Conception Church in Brookville, he married Joyce A Kozusko, who survives.
He was employed by the Brookville Area School District as a groundskeeper.
Mike was an avid hunter and sportsman.
He was a member of the Ohl United Methodist Church, Stanton Sportsman’s Club, and a member and current President of Church Bowling league.
Mike loved life and his family. He will always be remembered for his smile and the greeting he had for everyone who passed by him at school. Mike always had a friendly wave for all who went his way.
Besides his wife, and father, he is survived by his children Mallory Elizabeth and Taylor Marie Reitz both at home. His siblings include Ginger (Denny) Mahle, Jeffrey Reitz, and Rodney (Amy) Reitz all of Summerville, Pamela (Rev. Dan) Richter of Marienville, mother-in-law Madeline Kozusko of Pittsburgh, brother-in-law David (Kathleen) Kozusko (Peach Tree City, GA, Dean (Linda) Kozusko of Penn Hills, PA and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother Mary, brother Douglas and father-in-law J. Regis Kozusko.
Visitation will be on Thursday January 29, 2015, from 1-4 and 6-9 at the McKinney Funeral Home in Brookville.
Funeral will be at the Stanton United Methodist Church at 11:00 am Friday January 30, 2015, officiated by Rev Roger Howard.
Interment will be at the Ohl Cemetry, Beaver Twp., Jefferson Co., PA
