Milton Charles Vogel

Milton Charles Vogel, 84, of Pittsburgh, PA, passed away on Friday, November 13, 2020, at his home in Corsica, PA.

He was born on October 16, 1936, to the late Francis William and Margaret Gertrude (Brothers) Vogel in Pittsburgh. He graduated from Mt. Lebanon High School with the class of 1941. Milton honorably served his country with the United State Air Force Reserves until his retirement. He held other odd jobs throughout his career, including working in retail in Canonsburg, PA.

As Milton and his siblings grew, they discovered different paths in life. As his siblings grew up and left home, Milton decided to stay behind to care for their parents. Milton loved electronics and was known for buying the newest products whenever they released, especially cameras. Milton was a longtime resident of Corsica, having lived there for more than fifty years.

Milton is survived by four siblings, Robert James (Clara) Vogel of Virginia, Virginia (John) Obel of Florida, Barbara (Charles) Johnson of Vermont, and Norman Vogel of Ohio; one brother-in-law, Ken McIlvried; one nephew; and three nieces.

In addition to his parents, Milton was preceded in passing by three siblings, Henry Benton Vogel, Florence Irene McIlvried, and Frances William Vogel Jr.

Services were held privately to the family and entrusted to the McKinney – d’Argy Funeral Home, 345 Main Street, Brookville, PA, 15825.
