Moniteau Teacher Accused of Stealing from Karns City Booster Program

BUTLER CO., Pa. (EYT) – A Moniteau teacher has been arrested and charged with theft for allegedly taking money from the Karns City elementary basketball booster program.

According to WPXI News, Wendy Taylor, a special education teacher at the Moniteau School District, is accused of stealing nearly $700.00 from the booster program.

Investigators discovered the theft after reviewing one month of the program’s records. Taylor had been in charge of the booster program for four years.

Police say Taylor allegedly used the money to purchase groceries and pay her cell phone bill.
