N. Eugene ‘Minnie’ Morgan

N. Eugene ‘Minnie’ Morgan, 92, of Clearfield died on Friday, May 20, 2022 at his daughter’s home in Gibsonia.

He was born on January 16, 1930 in Grampian, a son of the late Norman C. and Ada Marie (Clark) Morgan.

Mr. Morgan was a truck driver for Brown Brothers and also Penn Traffic, retiring in 1995.

He was a member of Clearfield Benevolent Protective Order of Elks Number 540 and also the Antique Car Club.

Mr. Morgan served with the U. S. Air Force during Korea, attaining the rank of Airman First Class.

He is survived by two children, Michael Morgan of KY, and Lori Stackhouse and husband Randy of Gibsonia; five grandchildren, Kyle Hawkins, Morgan Hawkins, Samuel Morgan, Brett Stackhouse, and Danetta Stackhouse; two sisters, Anna Mae Straw of Grampian, and Margaret ‘Peg’ Carfley of Curwensville; and three brothers, James J. Morgan of Grampian, Donald Morgan of DuBois, and Robert Morgan and wife Gail of DuBois.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ramona R. (Zaccone) Morgan; three brothers, John, Thomas and Fred Morgan; and two sisters, Dorothy Hartzfeld and Geraldine Lias.

A graveside service with military honors will be held at the Crown Crest Memorial Park on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at 2 PM with Bud Baughman officiating.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to charity of donor’s choice.
