Passenger Vehicle Hits Truck on Interstate 80

PINE TWP., Pa. (EYT) – Police responded to a crash involving a passenger vehicle and a truck on Interstate 80 in Pine Township, Clearfield County, on Wednesday afternoon.

According to police, around 3:34 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18, a two-vehicle crash occurred on Interstate 80 near the 109.2 mile marker in Pine Township, Clearfield County.

Police say a 2012 Hyundai Sonata, operated by 26-year-old Devon T. Grant, of Middleton, New York, was traveling in the left lane and tried to merge into the right lane, striking the trailer of a 2004 Volvo VNL, operated by 53-year-old Wojciech P. Stradowski, of New Port Richey, Florida.

Grant’s vehicle then traveled off the left side of the roadway, striking a guide rail and coming to a final rest against the rail.

Stradowski’s truck traveled off the right side shoulder and stopped on the shoulder of the roadway.

Both drivers were wearing seatbelts and no injuries were reported.
