Patsy Jo Pilatsky


Patsy Jo Pilatsky, of Treasure Lake, DuBois, PA died on Sunday, January 7, 2018, at her home.

Born on August 23, 1944, in Muncie, IN, she was the daughter of the late Rollo and Betty (Lee) Terry.

On September 20, 1975, she married Arthur Pilatsky. He survives.

Patsy retired after 35 years of service as an Elementary School Teacher with the Frederick County Maryland Public Schools.

She was a member of St. Catherine of Sienna Roman Catholic Church where she was active in church affairs. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, as well as quilting, traveling, and baking. She, along with her husband, was a founding member of the Walkersville, Maryland Ambulance Company. She also enjoyed helping her husband with his Knights of Columbus activities.

She is survived by 4 children, Andrea Pilatsky of Phoenix, AZ, John Croft of Culpepper, VA, Julianne Moreno and her husband Steve of Yuma, AZ, and Nick Pilatsky and his wife Gina of Frederick, MD; two sisters, Marilyn Gors and Jane Miller and her husband Tim; one brother, Michael Terry and his wife Nancy; 11 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Eileen (Pilatsky) Wachter.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 11, 2018, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc.

A scriptural wake will be held on Thursday at 3:30 p.m. from the funeral home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 12, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. from St Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church with Msgr. Richard Siefer as celebrant.

Burial will be in Glade Cemetery in Walkersville, MD.
