Penn State Remains Eighth in AP, Coaches Polls; Pitt Moves into AP Poll

INDIANAPOLIS (EYT) – Penn State remained eighth in both the AP and Coaches Poll while Pitt entered the AP Poll in a tie for No. 24.

The Nittany Lions (10-2) wrapped up the Big Ten East title with a win over Michigan State and an Ohio State win over Michigan, while Pitt (8-4) played a basketball-like score in a 76-61 win over Syracuse and is in the AP Poll for the first time this year.
