Peter David John Medley, 60, of Greensburg, died Friday, Oct. 3, 2014, in Excela Health Westmorland Hospital, Greensburg.
He was born Sept. 8, 1954, in Melbourne, Australia, the son of the late David and Ruth (Crane) Medley.
He had been employed by NASA. He was a member of Good Shepherd Evangelical Lutheran Church, Greensburg, and was a veteran of the Air Force.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Christina Medley. He is survived by his wife, Deborah Poskus (Blose) Medley; six sons, Jeremy Medley (Jane), of Whitehouse, Texas, Peter Medley (Valentina), of Cordenons, Italy, David Medley and Erica Weisbacker, of Burnsville, Minn., Daniel Medley, Michael Poskus and Matthew Poskus, all at home; a daughter, Jennifer Garrett (Jerry), of Deer Park, Texas; and five grandchildren.
Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday in the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME INC., 516 Stanton St., Greensburg.
Additional visitation will be held from 10 until 10:45 a.m. Tuesday in Good Shepherd Evangelical Lutheran Church, Greensburg, where a funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Frank S. Podolinski Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in St. Clair Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to establish scholarship funds for their children.
