Planned Power Outage Scheduled for July 3 in Brookville and Corsica

BROOKVILLE, Pa. (EYT) – A planned power outage is scheduled to occur on July 3 in Brookville and Corsica.

First Energy Corporation, the parent company of Penelec, reported a power outage planned for Wednesday, July 3, will occur between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

The outage will allow the main sub-station to be put back online following maintenance work on a circuit breaker within the sub-station.

The area affected will include properties along the following streets and roadways: Airport Road, Allegheny Boulevard, Barnett Street, Caldwell Street, Cherry Street, Cowan Raod, Craig Street, Daugherty Street, Dowling Street, Fitzsimmons Road, Fetzer Street, Green Road, Harriger Road, Hawthorn Street, Henderson Street, Hill Street, Interstate 80, Jared Street, Jefferson Street, Jenks Street, Madison Avenue, Main Street, Marlin Street, Mendenhall Road, Old Route 322, Pickering Street, Pine Street, Progress Street, Rose Siding Road, Rose Street, Roseville Road, Routes 28, 36, 322, 3003, and 4001, Snyder Road, Sphere Road, Stormer Road, Thompson Street, Valley Street, Walnut Street, Waterford Pike, Waterford Road, White Street, Windy Knoll Road, Zents Boulevard, and Zitzelberger Road.
