Police Confiscate Crystal Meth During Arrest in Punxsutawney

arrestedPUNSUTAWNEY, Pa. (EYT) – On September 16, police made a drug arrest on E. Mahoning Street in Punxsutawney.

Punxsutawney Borough Police say a known Reynoldsville individual entered the municipal building while under the influence of a controlled substance.

A medical unit was summoned to attend to the suspect, and during the course of this assistance, police discovered the suspect to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and a clear plastic bag containing crystal meth, police say.

The known suspect was transported to Punxsutawney Area Hospital by Jefferson County EMS and faces charges of public intoxication, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a designer drug, according to police.
