Police Investigating Brady Township Burglary

CLEARFIELD CO., Pa. (EYT) – DuBois-based State Police are investigating a burglary that occurred in Brady Township.

According to police, around 8:00 a.m. on August 3, unknown individual(s) removed numerous batteries from construction equipment, as well as other items from a Black Cat Coal, LLC site on Evergreen Road near Golden Yoke Road, in Brady Township, Clearfield County.

The stolen items include:

– Eight 8D Deka batteries, valued at $305.00
– Four 4D Deka batteries, valued at $233.00
– A 12 volt Deka battery, valued at $119.00
– A cross cover wire/terminal battery, valued at $13.00
– Two red fire extinguishers, valued at $60.00
– ULSD #2 off-road diesel fuel, valued at $1,994.00
– 200 gallons of P66 T5X 30 weight oil, valued at $1,698.00
– 92 gallons of P66T3X 10 weight oil, valued at $745.00

The individual(s) also reportedly damaged a lock on a trailer to remove oil from inside the trailer and dumped numerous vehicle tires in a pile on the property.

The damages include:

– on/off fuel tank valve, valued at $10.00
– spigot valve, valued at $10.00
– key lock, valued at $15.00
– metal pad lock hasp, valued at $10.00.

Police say the individual(s) then fled from the scene in an unknown direction.

The investigation is ongoing.
