YOUNG TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – Punxsutawney-based State Police say a portion of State Route 36 is closed in Young Township, Jefferson County.
According to police, State Route 36, Young Township, is closed until further notice due to a large sinkhole.
Police say both north and southbound lanes are affected.
State Route 36 is closed from Walston Road south to State Route 436.
Traffic is being detoured via Walston Road.
All Punxsutawney Area Hospital traffic should follow the Walston Road detour.
