Police Release Details of Friday Afternoon Crash on Interstate 80

BROOKVILLE BOROUGH, Pa. (EYT) – DuBois-based State Police have released the details of a crash that occurred on Interstate 80 in Brookville Borough on Friday afternoon.

According to police, around 12:28 p.m. on Friday, March 20, 20-year-old Ryan M. Harris, of Kane, was operating a 2015 Subaru Forester, traveling east on Interstate 80 in Brookville Borough.

Police say Harris lost control of his vehicle on the wet roadway, then went off the left side of the road and struck a guide rail before continuing down the road and coming to a final rest facing southwest.

Harris was wearing a seatbelt and was not injured.

The vehicle sustained disabling damage to the front grill, hood, and bumper.

Pine Creek Volunteer Fire Department, Jefferson County EMS, and McPherson Towing assisted at the scene.
