Police Release Details on Drug Arrest in Brookville

BROOKVILLE, Pa. (EYT) – According to Brookville Borough Police, around 5:40 p.m. on June 13, a drug arrest occurred on Main Street, in Brookville, Jefferson County.

Brookville Police are filing a criminal complaint against 21-year-old Cory W. Pearce, of Brookville, charging him with DUI of Drugs; Possession of Marijuana; Possession of Drug Paraphernalia; and Possession with Intent to Deliver Controlled Substances following an investigation into a traffic stop on Main Street in Brookville.

Police say it is alleged that Pearce was stopped for a traffic violation and found to be under the influence of a controlled substance and in possession of two bags of marijuana.

He was evaluated by a PSP Drug Recognition Expert and found to be under the influence of a controlled substance.

According to police, he consented to a blood test, and it confirmed that he had THC in his system.
