Police Release Details on Two-Vehicle Collision in Falls Creek

FALLS CREEK, Pa. (EYT) – According to DuBois-based State Police, a two-vehicle crash occurred around 4:09 p.m. on February 17, on 3rd Street, in Falls Creek, Jefferson County.

Police say the crash occurred as John W. Rowe Jr., 55, of Marion Center, was attempting to turn left onto 3rd Street from State Route 830.

Rowe failed to see Theodore J. Whitehill, 53, of Knox, stopped at a stop sign on 3rd Street and struck Whitehill’s 2007 Pontiac Torrent with his 2000 Dodge Dakota, according to police.

The Pontiac Torrent sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene by Zimmerman Towing.

The Dodge Dakota was driven from the scene.

Both drivers were uninjured in the collision.

Rowe was cited with a traffic violation.
