Police Release Details on Union Twp. Crash

UNION TWP., Jefferson Co. (EYT) – Police say speed was a factor in a one-vehicle crash Sunday morning in Union Township, Jefferson County.

According to a report released by Punxsutawney-based State Police, around 10:33 a.m. on January 4, an unnamed driver in a 2009 Nissan Rouge was traveling south on Roseville/Sigel Road in Union Township and traveling too fast for conditions while negotiating left turn.

Police said the vehicle exited the west side of the roadway and impacted a small ditch causing both of its passenger side tires to go flat.

No injuries were reported in the accident.

The vehicle was towed from the scene by Leadbetter’s Towing.
