Police Report Hit-and-Run Crash in Snyder Township

SYNDER TWP., Pa. (EYT) – DuBois-based State Police are investigating a hit-and-run accident that recently occurred in Snyder Township.

According to police, the incident happened around 6:15 a.m. on September 3, on Atwell Lane, just south of Glasshurst Road, in Snyder Township, Jefferson County.

Police say an unknown vehicle was attempting to back up on Atwell Lane when it struck the front of a 2002 United Express Line box trailer that was parked on Atwell Lane.

The unknown vehicle then fled the scene in an unknown direction.

The front portion of the box trailer was damaged, according to police.
