Police Report One-Car Crash on I-80, Pine Creek Township

car-accident-graphic-5254_jpg_475x310_q85-300x225PINE CREEK TWP., Pa. (EYT) – According to DuBois-based State Police, around 7:36 p.m. on October 29, a one-car accident occurred on Interstate 80, at mile marker 86.9, in Pine Creek Township, Jefferson County.

Police say this crash occurred as 44-year-old Cheryl D. Bloom, of DuBois, was traveling eastbound in a 2013 Nissan Altima in the right lane of I-80, and struck a deer that came from the north side of the roadway in front of her car.

Bloom and two passengers – 73-year-old William J. Benninghoff and 72-year-old Florence M Benninghoff, both of DuBois – were using seat belts and were not injured.
