PINE CREEK TWP., Pa. (EYT) – Punxsutawney-based State Police responded to a hit-and-run crash in Pine Creek Township on Saturday evening.
According to police, around 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 29, a hit-and-run crash occurred on Knox Dale Road in Pine Creek Township, Jefferson County.
Police say an unknown vehicle was traveling north on Knox Dale Road, going too fast for conditions, when it traveled into the southbound lane, then slid back into the northbound lane and struck the guard rail, causing damage to both the guard rail and the vehicle.
The driver then fled the scene.
