Police Respond to PFA Complaint in Union Township

Blue flashing sirens of police car during the roadblock in the cUNION TWP., Pa. (EYT) – Around 11:50 a.m. on January 15, Punxsutawney-based State Police responded to a complaint on Howe Road, in Union Township, Jefferson County.

Police say the complaint involved Indirect Criminal Contempt for a Violation of a PFA (Protection From Abuse) at the above described location.

Upon further investigation, it was determined that this incident was unfounded and that no violation had occurred.

No other information was provided.
