Police Respond to Two-Vehicle Accident in Warsaw Township

WARSAW TWP., Pa. (EYT) – DuBois-based state police responded to a two-vehicle crash that occurred on State Route 28 in Warsaw Township Wednesday afternoon.

According to police, around 4:02 p.m. on Wednesday, November 7, 23-year-old Kyle E. Bish of Brockway was operating a 2008 Honda Civic, traveling on State Route 28 near Domres Road in Warsaw Township, Jefferson County.

Police say a 2011 Ford F-250 operated by 28-year-old Dendra R. Mauthe of Brookville was stopped in the right lane of State Route 28, waiting to turn left into a residence, when Bish failed to notice the vehicle stopped in the roadway and struck Mauthe’s vehicle from behind.

Both drivers were wearing seatbelts and no injuries were reported.
