Police Respond to Two-Vehicle Crash at Intersection in Clearfield County

DECATUR TWP., Pa. (EYT) – State Police in Clearfield say a two-vehicle collision happened on Route 322 in Decatur Township on Thursday afternoon.

According to Clearfield-based State Police, the crash occurred around 4:32 p.m. on Thursday, October 26, near the intersection of Troy Hawk Run Highway and North Front Street (U.S. Route 322), in Decatur Township, Clearfield County.

Police say a 2017 Chevrolet Traverse was yielding to oncoming traffic while attempting to merge from the southbound lane of Troy Hawk Run Highway onto the westbound lane of Route 322.

While waiting to merge, the Traverse was struck in the rear by a 2005 Chevrolet Blazer.

Both vehicles sustained moderate damages but were functional.

The drivers—whose names were not released—were not injured.

According to police, the driver of the Blazer was cited for operating a vehicle with a suspended license, following too closely, and failing to have the required financial responsibility.
