Police Respond to Vehicle Theft in Brookville

BROOKVILLE, Pa. (EYT) – Brookville Borough Police say around 2:09 p.m. on August 27, a theft of a motor vehicle occurred on Main Street, near the Courthouse, in Brookville, Jefferson County.

According to police, Officer Vince Markle received a call from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department requesting him to respond to the courthouse to meet with a victim who just had his/her vehicle stolen from Main Street.

The incident was investigated, the suspect was identified, and a warrant for her arrest has been issued by Judge Bazylak, police say.

The name of the suspect was not released.
