Police Searching for Warsaw Twp. Hit-and-Run Driver

WARSAW TWP., Pa. (EYT) – DuBois-based State Police are asking for the public’s help in solving a recent hit-and-run crash in Jefferson County.

The crash occurred some time between April 1 and April 5 on Richardsville Road in Warsaw Township.

Police say an unknown vehicle was traveling north on Richardsville Road and failed to negotiate a left hand turn.

The vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a large rock and then crashed into an embankment.

Police say the driver re-entered the roadway and fled the scene, heading north.

The vehicle is believed to be a small car or an SUV.
