Police Seek Information on Theft of Rifles in Beaver Township

BEAVER TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – Punxsutawney-based State Police say sometime between May 27 and June 7, a burglary occurred at a camp off Pucalik Road, in Beaver Township, Jefferson County.

According to police, an unknown perpetrator(s) made entry into a 53-year-old Summerville man’s camp via a southeast facing door.

Police say the perpetrator(s) then stole two cases of beer, numerous bottles of wine, and two rifles – a Browning BL-22 lever action with a high gloss wood finish, and a Winchester 94 .44 magnum with a Redfield scope and attached sling.

The total value of the stolen items exceeds $1,000.00.
