Police Seek Information on Unidentified Vehicle that Slammed into House

TIMBLIN BOROUGH, Pa. (EYT) – Punxsutawney-based State Police say around 10:00 p.m. on November 22, a hit and run accident occurred on West Market Street, West of South State Street, in Timblin Borough, Jefferson County.

According to police, an unidentified vehicle (possibly a Dodge Ram) was traveling west on West Market Street in Timblin when for an unknown reason, the operator lost control and drove off the north side of the highway.

The vehicle impacted a house with the front end of the vehicle, then the operator of the vehicle backed up and hit a utility pole with the left rear of the vehicle, police say.

The driver then fled west on West Market Street without reporting the incident, according to police.

The vehicle is described as a Dodge Ram truck with a short bed. It is believed to be gray in color and should have moderate front end damage, as well as damage to either the left rear fender or bumper area.
