Police Seeking Information on Missing Rifle in Porter Township

PORTER TWP., Pa. (EYT) – Punxsutawney-based State Police are seeking information on a rifle that was recently reported missing in Porter Township.

On Tuesday, October 12, Punxsutawney-based State Police took a report of a lost firearm that was last seen between Friday, October 8, and Sunday, October 10, on a property on McDivitt Road in Porter Township, Jefferson County.

Police say the rifle is described as a Savage Arms .22 caliber rifle with wood finish, a scope, and “several identifiable features,” valued at $100.00.
