UPDATE: Portion of Route 322 Reopened After Lengthy Closure Due to Downed Lines

JEFFERSON CO., Pa. (EYT) – A portion of U.S. Route 322 in Jefferson County has reopened after the roadway was shut down for several hours due to downed power lines.

According to PennDOT spokesperson Tina Gibbs, U.S. Route 322 has been reopened.

The roadway had been closed from Mendenhall Road in Union Township to Snyder Road in Rose Township, Jefferson County.

According to Gibbs, the road was closed since approximately 11:00 p.m. on Thursday evening, July 20.
